Job Description
We are looking for experienced, loving Early Childhood Teachers/Educarers for our child care facility to work with all ages! We are a fun, friendly, and compassionate group of adults that teach the LOVE of LEARNING to all young children.
Job Responsibilities

Help to maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth.

Ensure a healthy classroom environment including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.

Encourage and model social behavior and expectations which are developmentally appropriate.

Share ideas in planning a daily schedule that provides a balance of activities: quiet/active, indoor/outdoor, fine/gross motor, etc.

Ensure all center policies and state regulations are met.
Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum 2 years of experience at a Certified Child Care Center.

OR High school diploma or equivalent.

OR Associates Degree in early childhood education or related field of study with a minimum of 30 credits in ECE.

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

Food Handlers Card.

Child Abuse and Neglect training certificate.

Have completed OCC-approved health and safety training.

Have completed OCC-approved safe sleep training.

Flexibility to the hours and schedule of work.

Must clear full background check and provide Central Background Registry number (CBR).

Demonstrated classroom management skills preferred.

A strong understanding of child development.

Ability to speak, read, and write in English.

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents)

Pay: $17 - $22 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shift
